It's hard to believe I have been home from
Shipshewana for more than a week.
How has the time gone by so quickly?
I guess having little people here almost everyday does that.
My OMG for April was to complete 8 blocks
and
prepare ALL the sashing and cornerstones
for Dear Daughter.
This way I can add them as I complete blocks each month.
Feeling rather accomplished.
Blessings,
Chris
Looking good Chris!
ReplyDeleteI can see why you are feeling accomplished! Well done Chris! Your blue in the sashing in such a great choice too.
ReplyDeleteLovely blocks and so precise.
ReplyDeleteThey are looking good;congratulations on reaching your goal.
ReplyDeleteYour blocks are looking so nice. The blue fabric is perfect for this quilt. I'm glad you were able to find some time for applique even with the little grandsons there.
ReplyDeleteWonderful quilt!

Such pretty blocks. Thanks for linking up with Elm Street Quilts One Monthly Goal and congrats on your finish.
ReplyDeleteI am anxious to get my UFOs done and on to another project (piecing) Now am overloaded with hand work. You are doing a great job on Dear Daughter - meeting those goals make us feel so good!
ReplyDeleteChris, your Dear Daughter blocks and sashing are just exquisite. But what I love most in this blog post was the photo of your Bernina that you have decorated with holy scripture -- that is AWESOME! Is your Bible verse printed onto paper that you taped to your machine, or did you find some way of getting that on a clear vinyl decal?
ReplyDeleteWhat a great start!! Congrats.
