January 2017 RSC Purple

I came to the party late so have only one block done. This Bright Jane block will finish at four and a half inches.

Wonder what the colour will be for next month?

    That is a pretty block. This is a great idea, to tie the RSC into your Jane blocks. This will be a very colorful quilt when she is completed.

      Thanks. I am having fun. I made a Civil War Dear Jane quilt using 225 different fabrics. This time I am using each colour several times, so eagerly waiting for next months colour.

      I am having fun. Really. I put up all the blocks on the design wall today so I can be ready for next month's colour. I am doing them in random order, sort of and it is easier to pick the colours to go beside the ones already done so I do not have the same fabric touching, since I am using each colour several times.

      Thank you. It is not so much a talent as bull headed stubbornness and perseverance. This is my second Dear Jane quilt so it is really quite simple now.
