I quilted on the right side of the length of the quilt that I had been working on Wednesday night and finished that side letting me roll the quilt down last night to start back in the middle. When I rolled it down it made it so the quilt is half finished! I didn’t get done with much last night as we got home from visiting Melanie in the hospital close to 8 but I did sit down to work a little.
Wednesday nights quilting

Looking back across this was the half way row.

And this is where I picked up last night for a little bit. Melanie was feeling a bit better last night and moving around slightly better. She is coming home today so that means I go back to my routine and she will be home for the rest of the next couple of days resting up and sees the doctor mid week and then will be getting back to work I imagine and life goes back to normal – which means you will now see my quilting getting back into normal routine. Glad Melanie is doing better! I bet all of you are ready to get back to normal! It’s good you had a little time for some stitching therapy when you got home last night. Airship Propellers is moving along, and your stitching looks beautiful!
yes now we can get back to normal – just get her out of the hospital and back home – now her hubby can take care of her and I’m just a couple miles away if needed
The propellers are moving much faster than I expected
How fast you are to be half way finished! It won’t be long and we’ll see the end coming up. I’m so glad Melanie is feeling better and probably will be even better when she’s home. Have you received your yarn yet? I haven’t received mine yet, it certainly has been a while I think. Enjoy your stitching today.
I know only about 5 weeks on the frame so far – it is flying by. Melanie is now back home settled in
No I haven’t gotten my yarn and so sorry but I didn’t see it say anywhere on that site that it would be coming from overseas as it was US prices and low shipping – I contacted them and they are in England – might be 14-21 days!! Evidently they have their site set up a strange way that it wasn’t noticeable!!
How exciting, it’s looking wonderful!
thanks
The quilting on your propellers is beautiful. Glad you are close and can get back to quilting too
I love how this quilt is turning out – and yes daughter is just a couple miles down the highway from me – easy to get to if needed.
Glad Melanie is coming home today and on the road to recovery! You will be back to your routine soon! I like the propeller quilt! So different!
thanks – the modern name for the propeller quilt is Steam Punk I think by Jen Kingwell? she wanted more than I wanted to pay though for her pattern and I got this one for free and make my own templates
Boy, this quilt is coming along very fast! Glad Melanie is doing so well.
thank you Vicki – this quilt is moving well
It is a nice feeling when the 1/2 point is reached. Looking good.
yes I love hitting the half way point!
yes the half way point is always a good goal to see
