Harvesting Wheat

Hello!  I have another entry for the Twofer Challenge #10 Harvest.
This is such a fun challenge that I had another idea for two cards using the same stamp.  The stamp that I used for both cards is from GKD Always Autumn set...the wheat image is one that I have never used.  For the first card, I stamped the image and sentiment (GKD Scripty Sentiments) with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on white CS.  I framed the image with a die cut from Black CS.  Used scallop oval and oval dies. Kept this sympathy card clean and simple.

For a Thanksgiving card, I stamped the wheat image 3 times with Memento Peanut Brittle ink on Ivory CS and a Power Poppy Sentiment with Brown ink.   I edged the panel with a Pilot Metallic Gold Marker and placed on a layer of patterned paper from a Paper House pad and then an Ivory card base

  3. Two more great designs, Theresa! I love that you also used NBUS on your cards! It's a lovely wheat grass stamp standing proud as both a single silhouette framed with an oval scallop (love the choice of sediment!) or in triplet on your beautifully-framed Thanksgiving card!! Thank you so much for playing again in Twofer Card Challenge #10! Hugs, Darnell

  4. A beautifully simple, stylish and elegant sympathy card, Theresa ... the scalloped frame really draws the eye to that lovely wheat silhouette and scripty sentiment. The soft colours in your Thanksgiving card are deliciously warm and autumnal ... and the subtle background pp wonderfully complements the delicate stamped images! Thanks so much for playing along again with us at Twofer! Anita :)

  5. So great to see you twice in the gallery, Theresa! Your sympathy card is a perfect use of the wheat in black and white for a silhouette form. It's subtle and subdued, just right for the occasion. In brown tones, however, they are every bit the bounty that is stated in your sentiment. Wonderful twofer! Thanks for joining in the fun with us at the Twofer Card Challenge!
