Luminary with tea light inside to showcase vellum window
A duo challenge: Just Add Ink's challenge ~ Add Vellum, and Happy Little Stampers' October Christmas Challenge. Way back, when I bought the snowflake collage die...I thought it was larger for some reason and was disappointed with how small it was. Fast forward to after a year of collecting dust...I love the die..it's perfect for shaker boxes and it's perfect for the vellum window in this card... just pop a tealight inside and voila..an instant luminary for your desk..mantel..whereever.... Used some of the coveted Making Memories pattern paper with the red glimmer paper for a border...Die cut the Snowflake collage from shimmery white paper and than attached to the vellum paper..Voila!
Deets: Assorted supplies from craft stash..
Thanks for dropping by and feel free to leave some blog love.
Happy Belated Cardmaking Day! ;)
Smiles. :)

From your whimsical snowman to the beautiful die cut screen, this card is a sure fire winner. Luv, the paper background it's so warm and inviting and the colouring on your snowman. He's awesome! This card will look wonderful on the mantle with a tea light shimmering behind it. Thanks for sharing Sheri and for inspiring with your wonderful array of Christmas cards. Something for everyone!

Thank you Penny. Really loving this snowflake collage die..and so excited that I’ve been able to create a couple different cards with the die..this has got to be one of the simpler luminaries that I’ve managed to create...best get colouring and fussy cutting more of the snowman .. 🙂

Thank you Nikki! Great challenge to use vellum as it's been forever since I've used any vellum. Going to make up a few extra cards as gifts. Looking forward to the next JAI challenge. :)
Thank you Barb. Very excited to use up some of the vellum stash and enjoyed participating in the HLS challenge. Hope to be able to particpate in more HLS challenges. :)
