Merry & Bright....

So excited that I am able to make some cards and build up the Christmas card stash of mine. Used Sunday Stamps' latest sketch challenge...to kick start the inspiration for the card. Decided my brand new Merry&Bright die was the perfect match for the sketch . The diecut was a bit finicky to release the pieces after it was cut so, next time,  I might try using the metal shim and perhaps that will render a clean crisp diecut with the red glimmer paper... Dry embossed the white layer with my fave Snowflake background embossing folder...tossed in the shaker box to kick the card up a notch...Voila!

Deets: All Stampin Up except for Merry&Bright steel die, Snowman stamped image and Snowflake background embossing folder.

Thanks for dropping by to have a peek at my card.

Smiles. :)

Love it, Sheri - I have such a soft spot for shakers! And such an adorable little snowman - in bright festive colors! Perfect! Thanks so much for playing at Fab Friday!

Beautiful Christmas shaker card. Very cute snowman, and the sparkly paper for the shaker frame is perfect. Thank you for joining Sunday Stamps this week.

Thank you Heidi! It was the best of both worlds a shaker box and a Snowman. Looking forward to the next Sunday Stamps challenge. :)
