*Wishing you all the joys...JAI Honourable Mention..

Left: Back of Easel Card, Right: Front of Easel Card

So I'm trying to get out of a creativity slump..had these snowmen images sitting around and decided to put them to good use. This will be a Hat trick challenge: 1) Just Add Ink's sketch challenge 2) Christmas with the Cuties'  ~ The Cutest Snowmen challenge  and 3) the Holly and Ivy Christmas Challenge. Coloured the snowmen images and I haven't made a shaker card forever so decided to try one for this card. I made  this card twice as the first one..I glued the image upside down..and the fix..turned the card into a back easel card.. Gave it another shot and would you believe??.I did the same thing..yet again..I give up..some days are just not meant for creating... Anyways here are my versions of a *back easel* card.

Deets: Spellbinders Heirloom die, unknown Snowman trio stamped images, Making Memories patten paper, Stampin Up card stock and glimmer paper

**EDIT: The Just Add Ink Design Team has chosen my card as one of the Honourable Mentions for their sketch challenge. What great news to wake up to on a Thursday morning! Thank you for the wonderful sketch to jumpstart my Christmas card!**
If anyone knows which company makes the Snowmen trio stamp, please let me know.

Thanks for dropping by and taking the time to leave some blog love.

Smiles. :)

Hmmm - I really like they way you have used the glimmer paper to boarder your card. the Stamping on the pink card also creates great interest to the card front. Lots of lovely detail. Chantell Just Add Ink

Oh my Sheri. Glad you're working on that slump because this card is spectacular. You my friend have such a way with snowmen. Love the background stamping on the card face, your choice of colours (the pinks are stunning), and that beautiful bow. Simply awesome!

These are such pretty and sparkly easel cards, Sherri! I love how the glimmer edges add another layer of sparkle to the background stamping and having the snow family inside the shaker window is so fun! Thanks for sharing with us at Just Add Ink this week.

Hello Kim, I know I was devestated when I went to open the finished card and realized that the shaker was glued on the backside of the card....than I thought of the easel...a crafting opportunity! Hope to try another JAI challenge in the near future. :)
