Another week begins - welcome to JULY!

Morning readers,

Hope you had a great weekend and enjoyed the warm weather - if I'm honest, it's been a little too warm for me but I've been doing my best to keep cool and hydrated (VERY important this weather) and hope you've all been successfully doing the same!

My card

Inktense blocks dry waterproof so I had no need of setting my design

Materials used:

• Cream A2/C6, 250gsm, card and matching sized envelope
• Two pieces of cream (300gsm) card cut to fit 
• One piece of black card, cut to mat
• Inktense block in cerise, colour washed over the cardstock using a brush
• Unknown image stamped using black ink
• Twinkling H2O in solar gold flicked from my brush, to add further interest

And, since it IS July, it must (SURELY) be time to be thinking about Christmas cards ... isn't it?

Materials used:

• Cream A2/C6, 250gsm, card and matching sized envelope

• One piece of navy card cut to mat
• Penny Black image and sentiment stamped using black ink
• Elsewhere I used a greeting sentiment (PRS) using blue ink
• Pencils used to colour my image,blended with sansodor and a paper stump
• Stardust stickles, Wink of Stella and dimensional gloss used to embellish

What a SCORCHING week we had last week? I'm wondering how I'll cope if it's as hot this week but, I'm reassured to hear that temperatures are set to PLUMMET to the positively CHILLY low 20°'s!! - fingers crossed. Har Har - stay cool peeps!
