A New Home

Hiya peeps

Today I would like to show you a card that Ive made for my eldest daughter, husband & 2 sons, as they moved from their first flat into a fabulous 3 bedroom house.
I saw, on the Lili of the Valley website, a wonderful card using the image & I fell in love with it straight away. Its called A New Adventure and its gorgeous. I hope I have done the digi justice with the colouring using pencil crayons and the card I made using it. Its a large 8.5cm square card using a beautiful Spring Green cardstock for the base & I cut the outer edge corners using a basic corner punch. I then cut a piece of "toadstool" ribbon & secured that across the piece of gemstone red card from Crafters Companion, with the corners rounded, then mounted that onto the green base card. After colouring the digi I mounted that onto a piece of black gemstone round cornered card.
I then cut out the four words "Happy Wonderful New Home" from my own large die cutting collection, stuck them onto the top corners of the white card that I had printed the digi image onto. I then made a ribbon bow using the same toadstool ribbon, which is from a fantastic UK company called Crafty Ribbons. (I used to be on their design team).  The final thing I did was to add the 3 pearls in the top right hand corner.

I wish to enter this card into the following blog/Facebook challenges:
