Thursday progress

I finished the Magnolia Mystery quilt, here:

Feels good to have this and the Transparency quilt done and ready to donate to H2H, to Happy Chemo!

I've started the QOV mystery by Alycia and have completed these star blocks: Need 16, but working on the clues from yesterday too.  Using all from scraps, yah!

Next big project is to get the On Ringo Lake quilt top laid out and pinned, a big task!  Bought the backing from Hancock's of Paducah and it took forever to get here...over 2 weeks.  After this, I'll need to start a new project, have some in mind from reading Kathy's blog (https://kathysquilts.blogspot.com/)  but I'll never be as busy as she is !
A generous quilter offered prizes with the Transparency Quiltalong (https://quiltingjetgirl.com/2017/08/18/wayward-transparency-quilt-along-quilt-reveal-schedule-sponsors-prizes/ and I was a lucky recipient of this:
and here's another block in the Fat Quarter Shop BOM:

Your Magnolia Mystery Quilt is beautiful! What a great way to use up your scraps on those patriotic stars, too.

Magnolia Mystery is so striking! What a great design and color scheme. Your scrappy stars are so nice, too. They will be beautiful in a QOV quilt.
