The next best thing is to just add flowers to my cards. I had stamped and embossed
this about a month ago and it was waiting for some Distress Oxide ink blending. The stamps are from Verve Stamps Butterfly Grace. This is one of my favorite Bible verses, because to me, it confirms that in spite of all of my sins, short comings and failures, I am still worthy of saving through my faith in God.
The little velum flowers are a go to for me and are Recollections from Michaels.

ReplyDeleteI like the rainbow colors used on your background and the scripture - we serve an awesome God - saw this at Stamplorations challenge
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous colored background you created. Thanks so much for playing along at Time Out.
ReplyDeleteSoft, dreamy and so pretty, Lucy ... and a beautiful verse! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Time Out! Anita :)
ReplyDeleteLucy, I love the background you created. And, of course, the verse. Pretty card!
ReplyDeleteDid your daffodils survive? None blooming around here, yet, but I have seen a couple crocus. The ice went off the small lake across the road from me yesterday. There were 2 swans there this morning, and the local pair of loons are back. Yes! Spring!
Hi Julie. Yes, I think everything survived. None of my flowers have bloomed yet, but we are having 50-60 degree weather now. The birds are singing like crazy. The grass has been mowed once. Thank the Lord!
DeleteLove the soft tones of your card, that blended background is wonderful. Thank you for sharing at Path of Positivity. Pippa DT
