Hello! I was inspired by a challenge at Tuesday Morning Sketch to create a card with Watercolor, Blue, and a theme of kindness but I posted too late to enter. I also used the Sketch challenge at Just Add Ink so will enter that challenge. The card was made with a Repeat Impressions stamp Vase of Tulips but I only used a portion of the stamp. I stamped the image on watercolor paper and colored with Distress Oxide Inks using a water brush. I die cut the image with a circle die and adhered to another die cut circle of watercolor paper that I colored with the blue DOI. I cut a strip of the watercolor paper edged with Blue CS stamped with a Power Poppy sentiment, and attached to a White Card Base. I like the finished results of the contrast of the watercolor paper elements with the white CS.

What a gorgeous floral image, and I love that you've just used part of it for the circle element. Thanks for joining in with us at Just Add Ink
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!! I LOVE how you cropped the tulip image (it's one of my favorite!)!! It looks completely different that way; I almost didn't recognize it. Thanks for playing with The House That Stamps Built. (again)
