Another weekend looming large!

Morning all,

After recently discovering my new home cards all appeared to feature houses ... I thought I should see what I could do - I knew I had a skyline set of silhouette images (by FLONZ) and wondered if I could work something around that ....

My card

The front, back and inside of my card along with the front and back of my envelope

Materials used:
  • White A2/C6, 250gsm, card and matching sized envelope
  • Two pieces of white card cut to fit
  • One piece of kraft card cut to mat
  • Snippets of card in both white and Kraft
  • Skyline image and sentiments stamped using Versafine onyx black ink
  • Using a stencil brush (recent purchase from Aldi) I brushed Distress Inks: tumbled glass and salty ocean. Once dry I gave the panel a quick squirt of Crafters Companion Spray and Shine, to protect the water based inks in transit
  • On the Kraft panels I stamped the border image using Versafine onyx black ink, just to add a little interest to the dullness that is a Kraft matting layer!
FLONZ "Urban landscape borders 01", Kaisercraft "Edges" and Imagine That "Write Big #2"
I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-
  1. Crafty Sentiments - March 27th challenge - ANYTHING GOES
  2. Through The Craft Room Door - March 27th challenge - ANYTHING GOES
  3. Lemon Shortbread - challenge No. 64 - ANYTHING GOES
  4. AAA Cards - challenge No. 111 - USE ONLY ONE THIRD
  5. Addicted to Stamps and More - challenge No. 285 - PHOTO INSPIRATION see below - I used the colour for my make, particularly the bottom right pic with the block of blue
