Woo Hoo - Saturday and .. NO SNOW!

Morning readers,

Had a good week? Mine wasn't too bad .. if you set aside the frustration of having to change your e-mail address whether you want to or not!! HOW many sites do you log in to using your e-mail address? I found out it was LOADS!!! I THINK I'm about there now but - grrrrr, our thanks to our e-mail service provider for suddenly deciding that the format we've been using will die - I've had that e-mail address for over 20 years too.

Anyhoo, aside from that, had a lovely catch up with a pal, over coffee, on Wednesday - she's just back from Spain so plenty to chat about. So much so that we followed our coffee up with pots of tea. Sadly, my lunch out with a different pal had to be postponed but .... I'll see you when you are feeling brighter.

A trip to the ToC instead, which resulted in the card below - I realised recently, when a friend moved in to a new flat, that all my new home cards pretty much had HOUSES on them and decided to make one perhaps a little more suited to flat dwellers .....

My card

The front, back and inside of my card along with the front and back of my envelope
The sentiment inside the card reads "Wishing you happy times in your new home"
Materials used:
  • White A2/C6, 250gs, card and matching sized envelope
  • Two pieces of white card cut to fit
  • Grey and black card, cut to mat
  • Snippets of white and grey card
  • Kaisercraft image stamped using Versafine onyx black ink
  • On the white stamped snippet I applied Distress Ink in tumbled glass and salty ocean, using a stencil brush and then, adding a Tim Holtz dotty mini stencil (and without re-inking) applied ink through the stencil, sealing with a quick spray of Crafters Companion Spray and Shine
  • Ranger and Lindsay Mason sentiments stamped using Versafine onyx black ink
Ranger "Letter It" - CELEBRATION, Lindsay Mason "I dreamed of castles" PICSA6206,
Kaisercraft "Just landed" and Tim Holtz mini stencils set 20

Two wonderful cards Kathy and a great image for someone moving into an apartment and love the added colour, and the cute bear with all the circles including the white one that you have him on top of is a super design, and love the denim blue. x

I love the city scene you created. Definitely perfect for someone with a new flat vs a new house. How fun that you also decorate the envelope to match. Thanks for playing with us over at Cards in Envy!
