Who Run the World? Girls! @ Little Red Wagon

This week at

it's my turn to choose the challenge and I'm going with a little in your face this week. I'm saying, "Who Run the World? Girls!" You know.....

Now, I'm not really a fan of Beyoncé.....wait, that's not quite how I want to put that. Beyoncé is hella talented, for sure, it's not that I'm not a fan of Beyoncé, it's just that my tastes are much more Mumford & Sons-Vance Joy-July Talk-The Lumineers - y. (Hmmmmm.....I think I gave love over a good portion of the globe with that list.) That said, I do love that video and song. So, when I decided that it would be a good theme to feature a girl (or girls) or a woman (or women) this week, that's what I picked to label it. (:

And this is what I made for said challenge.....

This was a tough on to get a good photo of due to that patterned paper. I went with this one even though it's a little dark as it shows off the gold foil well.  And it shows the Stickle sparkle on the dress and necklace too.

Such a fab digi, isn't it?  It's one of the very first I ever bought (so we're talking about eight years ago now), it came as a set of four from Digi Design House, which, afaik, is long closed.  Thought about fancying it up with some flowers or embellis but decided it looked elegant enough as is.

Why not give our challenge a go this week and head on over to Little Red Wagon and link up?  And, while you're there, be sure to check out the wonderful projects the other Girlfriends have created.

  5. Wow, that metallic paper sure catches the eye! Love the image you used, so chic and fashionable, perfect for your sentiment and theme. I don't listen to much in the way of modern music because we don't have a radio, but I did just watch that video and it was pretty good. I gotta give props to anyone who can dance like that! lol. sending hugs :)

Okay, so ever since I started my blog (well, maybe not right from the get-go, it was probably a good six months or so before I realized you could change it from just "Leave your comment") I've tried to come up with something witty to type here.

*sitting with brow furrowed in concentration*...*staring at the ceiling while pursing lips*...*resting with head on hand while tapping foot*...

Nope, I still got nothing.
