Thanks a Latte @ Little Red Wagon

This week at

it's Kate's turn to choose the challenge and she's saying, "Thanks a Latte" which means that she want to see projects featuring hot beverages. *slurp*

Now, for the second LRW week in a row, I didn't use a digi, I used a clear stamp - whaaaaa? Coincidentally, it's also from Stamplorations. But, this time 'round I got a little fancy. Well, fancy for me, anyways. Here's take a look, then I'll 'splain.

I know, at first glance it's not easy to pick out my "fancy stamping".  You see, that heart isn't actually a part of the mug, just a part of the set.  So, I stamped the mug, made a reverse mask, then stamped the heart on the mug.  Now, in my mind, you all are going, "ooooooooh" and are totally super impressed by my talent.  And I'm dreaming all that up just because I'm ridiculously (and embarrassingly) proud of myself for accomplishing that small, small feat.  So, proud I rewarded myself with some homemade oatmeal chocolate chip cookies....multiple times.  Gotta have somethin' to dip in my hot bevvie, right?  (-:

Why not give our challenge a go this week and head on over to Little Red Wagon and link up?  And, while you're there, be sure to check out the wonderful projects the other Girlfriends have created.

As You Like It:  favourite way to add a sentiment - My fave way is to use a digi/computer generated sentiment.  It's super easy, and you can say whatever your want and size it however you want.

  3. Ah, now that's super cute! I am impressed by your heart masking feat, but I am just as impressed that you used a 'traditional' stamp at all. I am seriously asking myself if the ones I have are even worth me keeping as I no longer use them. I sooooooo prefer digital. Love your paper choices and the offset tags – a great design!!!

Okay, so ever since I started my blog (well, maybe not right from the get-go, it was probably a good six months or so before I realized you could change it from just "Leave your comment") I've tried to come up with something witty to type here.

*sitting with brow furrowed in concentration*...*staring at the ceiling while pursing lips*...*resting with head on hand while tapping foot*...

Nope, I still got nothing.
