It was a little too sunny. So we came back later.
Next was My Bohemian Ex.
And finally, Alice's Swedish Ex.
Like any quilt mother, I can't choose a favorite.
And then sometimes it's really more about catching that perfect breaking wave in the background. Which always breaks immediately after you have given up...
Look how clear the water is!
You remember this sweet little note?
It had to be preserved, so I enlarged it, embroidered it and turned it into this pillow. I think Gabe's clever design needs to be copyrighted.
I'm linking up with Crazy Mom Quilts, Confessions of a Fabric Addict and TGIFF.TGIFF Happy weekend, everyone.

I’d love to make one, it’s such an intriguing and pretty pattern, in all the fabrics. I’d love to see that view with you, too! Beautiful!
Beautiful quilts in an even more beautiful setting.
Awww - what a sweet and sentimental pillow. :) And you really got some gorgeous pictures of the quilts and the shore!
Great photos Cindy! You know I love the quilt.
Beautiful bright quilt!
Another beauty from this fun design. She posed beautifully, not even flinching when that gull came near. Glad Gabe's work is preserved for lots of happy memories in the future.
Each version of this quilt is so, so nice. Bohemian may be my favorite since I'm a print girl at heart. I can't remember if you wrote a pattern for it or not because I'd love to play around with it sometime later this year once I have a few other things off my quilty plate.
What a great way to preserve that memory!!! Oh, the three Exes look fabulous, too. Kids art rules!
You've found the perfect spot to photograph your quilts Cindy! That wonderful blue sea really is an amazing backdrop for your latest ex!
