Hello! I was inspired by the Rustic Blooms challenge at The Card Concept. I used the Bouquet stamp from Gina K Hearts and Flowers kit that I stamped on white CS with Memento Gray Flannel ink and colored with Copics. I cut with the die from the set and attached to panel of a textured vinyl wallpaper sample that I have been hoarding for a special card and placed on a blue card base. Finished with the Hello sentiment and die cut.
I did a second version of this card making it the same as above but added a layer of Vellum that I stamped with the same stamp with Versamark and Heat embossed with Clear EP. Also colored with Copics and White Pen and then die cut. Attached over the colored image on white CS with Vellum tape. The card looks much better in real life.....does not photograph very clear. I was very pleased with the finished results especially with the vellum on the textured back ground.
Challenges:
The Card Concept: #85 Rustic Blooms. Style is CAS.
Simon Wednesday Challenge: Simon says Layer It Up. I layered the floral image with the same image stamped on Vellum--both colored with Copics. (2nd photo)
Alphabet Challenge: V is For Vellum. Floral image stamped on an overlay of Clear Vellum.
CAS on Friday: Challenge 125-color me pretty-use pencils or markers on your card. Used Copics.

Absolutely gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are so pretty, but I like more color in the background on the first card, however, it's so hard to really tell from a photo.
ReplyDeleteA great idea to try two different ways, I like them both. Thanks for sharing with us at Alphabet Challenges. Caz. DT.
