A Saturday post with tags and cards!

Hi there readers,

Hope you've all had a good week - probably starting to feel like Christmas was so last year! Sorry, couldn't resist that one!

I availed myself of some of the sales, well, one actually - Hobby Art Stamps - and snagged this fabulous image! So here is it's inaugural inking .......

My tag

The reverse of my tag

Materials used:

• Kraft tag
• Hobby Art image (from CS132-D Funky Chicken) stamped using Memento tuxedo black ink
• Faber Castell polychromos pencils used to colour
• Anita's dimensional gloss on her eyes and stardust stickles to highlight
• For the reverse of the tag I stamped my Posh Impressions "TO" and "FROM" using Memento tuxedo black ink

And now ...... the LIM challenge has gone fortnightly this year so I don't have to wait every Saturday morning to see what the challenge is .. only every OTHER Saturday, so, I was NOT up bright and early this morning to make this one ..... I was able to make this yesterday instead!

My card

 

The front, back and inside of my card along with the front and back of my envelope

Materials used:

• White C6/A2, 300gsm, card and matching sized envelope
• Two pieces of white card cut to fit
• One piece of purple card cut to mat
• Using washi tape to hold my That Special Touch (MaskDistDots) stencil in place I applied Distress Ink in wilted violet through the stencil using a mini blending tool and foam pad
• Close To My Heart (from D1523 - Sweet Music) saxophonist and musical notes (not on card front) stamped using Versafine onyx black ink
• Happy Little Stampers Butterfly Birthday sentiment stamped using Versafine onyx black ink
