Doesn’t everybody love pumpkins? They are my favorite for Fall decorating, and I especially like pumpkin pie. Costco has a huge one during the season, and it’s bargain priced! There is also a wonderful one that can be made of paper with a Patterned Pumpkin Thinlit Die. I knew I wanted to use this pumpkin on my project when I saw the colors and sketch of two challenges.

I die cut the pumpkin twice: once with Crumb Cake, matching the card base, and once with Tangerine Tango. Can you see how it’s like a jigsaw puzzle? Fun, fun, fun!

I decided on a Wood Texture background, and thought that a die in the Eclectic Layers set would make a good trellis. The only thing climbing on it right now are tiny Peek-a-Boo Peach dots. I had to somehow incorporate this color, and believe me, the struggle was real. I dulled the other colors for a rustic look by stamping them on Crumb Cake cardstock, and the peach was just too brilliant. I hope this tiny bit works.

I stamped “Thanks” in Tranquil Tide on my favorite little sign from the At Home set, and hung it from a nail at the top of the trellis. Afterall, it is a Thanksgiving card.

Now you will see the challenges, which supplied my inspiration:

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I wouldn’t be doing this, if it wasn’t for you!
