Sometimes the Movie is Just as Good: #MFRWAuthor Blog Challenge, Week 20 — 11 Comments

  1. I completely forgot about Master and Commander! It was a really good adaptation, I thought. Thanks for the reminder 🙂

  2. I love the Bourne series! Like you, I’ve never read a single book, but I’ve seen all the movies, countless times. Anytime I’m channel surfing and it’s on, I’ll stop to watch it.

  3. It’s the same with my cable company and Bourne movies. In fact, it was my son who got me hooked on them because he watches them all the time. I haven’t seen all of Master and Commander and haven’t read the book. Looking forward to seeing it.

  4. I forgot about Sharpe and Master and Commander. Both movies/TV series were good. Loved Sean Bean as Sharpe.

I totally agree about the movie version of The Last of the Mohicans outshining the book. It has been a while since I’ve read the book, but seem to remember there was a love story between one of the sisters and the British major, plus the thing between the other sister and Uncas. Hawkeye was not involved in any romance.
