Teal Flowers:

Happy Saturday all!  It is a gorgeous spring day out there and I have the window to my craftroom open with a little fresh air!  With that being said, I better not get used to it as we are supposed to have a rather large snow storm tomorrow.

As I am trying to dust off a lot of my stash, I am also trying new techniques.  Today I am trying the ombre background technique from Jennifer McGuire.

Card Ingredients:

Stamps:  My Favorite Things Etched Flower Background, Simon Says Stamp Magical Birthday

Die cuts:  My Favorite Things Brushstroke Birthday Greetings
My Favorite Things Blueprints 20, My Favorite Things Blueprints 13

Frosting:  Stampin' Up! inks,  Stampin' Up! cardstock, Tsukineko Versafine Onyx Black

I created this card for the following challenges:

Freshly Made Sketches

Less Is More

Have a great weekend - cheers all!

I love the ombre look you created, particularly with the reverse colors on the word! The black sequins are a fun contrast. Thank you for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches.
