When I saw the inspiration photo for The Card Concept # 65 Fresh & Bold challenge I knew I had the perfect background piece in my stash. It very much reminded me of the pillows on the bed.
I used Dylusions sprays & the reverse of the stencil (flipping over the stencil after inking through & stamping down the excess ink off the stencil) on mixed media paper. The positive piece I used on this card last year. I added a MFT white scallop frame (to match the pillow ruffles) and W&W Thanks die-cut word. I love these W&W words as they are bold enough to stand out on busy backgrounds. A little Star Dust Stickles was added to some areas of the flower centres although as always it's a little hard to see. I'm going with Clean & Graphic style.

ReplyDeleteAlas, sweet Rose, I’ve again fallen behind in commenting, and as much as I deeply want to dive into each missed post and leave love, I’d wind up even further behind (not to mention cluttering up your mailbox *grin*). As it is, you know that *gorgeous, fabulous, amazing, stellar* are my responses to your exponential creativity (need to figure out a new vocabulary…) so please consider those added to your gallery, as of this minute! Right now, focusing on the card in front of me that is…well, see the previous list! You've captured the bold colours of the inspiration photo perfectly with your lovely stenciled flowers! And the scalloped frame is such a charming touch! Hope all is well with you...I can't believe March is nearly at our doorstep! Thinking of you and sending love!
