Finally I got the binding finished for The Final Frontier – I am going to wash and dry the quilt this weekend and get a label on it. I will blog about it and show the final photos on the first of the month when Audrey has her link up for the Quilty 365 as that is where my quilt grew from. In the meantime here it is folded after all the stitching was done.

One more Scrappy Basket added to the wall – I got a little stitching done while the turkey was baking and then after Melanie and Ric left for home I got done with more.

this much across on the Postage Stamp was finished the last several days and I got started again last night. I have been spritzing the blue lines off as I go and no bleed from the wool – I know some of you had placed concerns about it bleeding- so far just fine!

I have been very lazy making labels for my quilts the second half of this year and yesterday I got four of them made – it really is a very easy process I don’t know why I haven’t kept up with it this year and now I have four to stitch on – I have gone back to making my own – I had ordered some that I used for awhile and they are cute I had ordered them from an etsy shop but they didn’t have all the information on them that I like to include. I type up labels for the quilts using Microsoft Word and then print them out on some new photo fabric that someone had mentioned to me – it feels just like ordinary fabric not that stiff stuff that I have seen and tried to use in the past – I don’t even remember the names of the different varieties I tried in the past. This kind is called Crafter’s Image and you can easily stitch through it by hand to the back of your quilt with no effort at all. It is made from cotton poplin and treated for photos. Just what I wanted. Linking to Confessions of a Fabric Addict , Fort Worth Fabric Studio and Busy Hands Friday and Crazy Mom Quilts.
Check out Craftsy – the sale has started!! Sales runs through Monday at midnight. Some things are already out of stock. All Classes $17.99 or less. All Supplies and Kits on sale up to 70% off. If you have not tried Craftsy’s new Boundless fabric line now is a good time to try them out – try the charm squares at very low price they also have a new yarn if you are a knitter called Cloudborn – perfect time to try these new lines out to see if you like them.
And don’t forget AccuQuilt is having the lowest prices of the year running now as well.

Looking good, Karen! I seem to save up label making for when I’m in just the right mood, then I go for it and do them all at once. I’m trying very hard to resist Craftsy’s big sale, but you make it difficult! Enjoy your day! XO
I used to have a label waiting when I got done with the quilt all prepared – now six months later for some of them LOL – it is hard to resist the sales
Congrats on another great finish! 🙂 The baskets are cute!
thanks Deb – I never really thought the basket quilt was my kind of quilt until I started to see so many of them!!
Your accomplishments amaze me!!! Those circles still “grab” at me—-LUV that one! So good to hear that your Thanksgiving went well….our did, also. Quilting today…..in “flannels”!!!!!! Yup….overcast and dreary===PERFECT!!!!!! LOL!!!!
flannels sound perfect to play with on a cold dreary day! I am trying to get some things cleared up enough so that I can start on one of my flannel kits soon
Congrats on your finish, Karen. Audrey is going to be so happy to see it. Cute baskets and your quilting is going along brilliantly!
