As you know, I don't like to wear the the flame inducing blanket scarves around my neck. However, when I saw this reversible one on ebay I thought not only would it make a great re-create and wrap, but it's another great blanket to add to my collection. See that's what I do with mine, when there is as light chill in the air, I like to throw it over my lap at a football game. I've seen them wrapped like this and then belted too.
It was a really bad hair day this day, it had just stopped raining and I was trying to wrangle a son to take these before he delved into his Saturday plans. My suede booties got wet and we booth quickly grew tired of trying to get the perfect shoots so we gave up and I went in and put my limp, frizzy hair in a bun, lol.
Ebay is a great place to get blanket scarves at an excellent price.
This wrap is super soft but if I'm being honest, I don't LOVE this outfit but it made for a good
re-create. OOOh just had a thought, the prefect "blanket" to take to the Lounger Movie theater!

I like your new blanket scarf! And thanks for the Ebay tip!
ReplyDeleteI get cold easily, so I like blanket scarves, but I actually don't often wrap them around my neck; it can easily feel like the material is trying to strangle you, and, as you said, they do get too hot that way... But I think they are perfect to wrap around your shoulders or across your lap, etc.
Happy Wednesday!

I have the same sentiments...flame inducing scarves....seriously though! They can get so HOT and I also feel like I might strangle a student or actually lose a student in the scarf when I am bent over helping them :) I do love this look though! I love the look of it as a poncho.
