Doll Quilt Practicing

I'm so excited to have finished a project that took far longer than it should have!
My friend wanted a queen size quilt, which I don't think I can fathom finishing well.
I can piece together a quilt top beautifully, but quilting and binding I don't do so well at.
I love to hand sew the binding, but quilting is so frustrating!
It's very expensive to hire it done when there are still 4 children at home + too many bills.
I can't afford a nice machine to do it correctly, and I only like using my 1955 Singer sewing machine anyway.

So, when my friend wanted a quilt, I sadly declined.
She suggested making a quilt for her young daughter's "babies."
This was a fun project to do, and it offered a lot of stashbusting, as well as practice mediums for trying different types of batting, stitching, and pressure knob settings for the foot.

There are 4 extra, and I will be listing them on etsy or ebay soon.  If you are interested, leave a comment, and I'll get back to you.
*GREAT Christmas gift for the baby dolls!
