Scrappy Mountain Majesties Quilted and Bound

I  finished piecing Scrappy Mountain Majesties (a free Bonnie Hunter pattern)  in September of 2015.  I finally got it to the longarmer in a few weeks ago and got it bound yesterday.  This will be a high school graduation gift for one of my ten nephews.  I'm going to hang on to it for a couple of years.  Two nephews and a niece will graduate in 2018.  I have to plan ahead since there are so many of them!

All of the fabric on the top is from old shirts except for the red checked binding.  The backing is red flannel.

Turned out nice. My last niece/nephew graduated last May. One never got a quilt (oops). I'll make him something one day.

I have one of these in the very early stages. Looking at your lovely finished quilt makes me want to pull it back out and get to work. Thanks for the reminder.

I've been wanting to make this pattern for ages--love your version! The shirt fabrics and flannel make it so cozy and I love the fan quilting too!
