Review: You Can Run - Stephanie Hazeltine - April 2025 What should have been a happy date for Ivy, ended up in a nightmare that never ended for her. Ivy tended to be the bookish sister and it was her younger sister Naomi who was all about the boys. When someone takes an interest in Ivy at their dad's restaurant, Ivy decides to take the chance and offers to go on a date with him. Review: His Soul to Keep - Book #1 Frankie Dawson PI - Melinda Woodhall - November 2022 I am a big fan of Melinda Woodhall's series as I have read and completed almost four of her series and so when I saw that Frankie Dawson who I had met in her other books was getting his spin-off, there was no doubt about that I was going to read it. In this book, Frankie Dawson's marriage is on the rocks and he has just gotten a phone call and email to say an old friend Dwight is dying and hasn't got long left. Frankie heads to his hometown and is too late as he finds that Dwight and Cheryl have been murdered. Review: Give Me Butterflies - Book #1 The Oaks Sisters - Jillian Meadows - July 2023 I had been holding out to read this book and was so excited as it had given me vibes of one of my favorite series by Erin Mallon - The Natural History Museum series. Give Me Butterflies is also set in a museum and we have Millie Oaks who is an Entomologist and Finn who is an Astronomer. The only difference between the two series is that Give Me Butterflies is a bit more serious and touches on a few edgier topics compared to the hilarious LOL moments that are sprinkled right through Erin Mallon's series. Besides that, these were very similar and I feel that reading Erin's work first actually in a way set me up to love Jillian Meadow's book just as much.
