Yesterday we FINALLY got our home "office" carpet fitted .... we've only had the carpet since September! Admittedly we WERE away for a while and then there was Christmas and then it was my cousin coming to stay all of which served to delay the commencement of this decorating, that and the fact we both hate both the process and the upheaval! However, we can FINALLY start putting furniture back in to the room though we can't complete the exercise yet, as we've new furniture due on Monday. We've been advised that this furniture will be delivered palletised! - only one problem I can see with that ..... we DON'T HAVE A FORKLIFT, it'll be an interesting day on Monday - watch this space! If it's that bad .. there WILL be pix!
Anyhoo, Saturday's are normally my day to fit in a few challenges, so on to the crafting - here's make #1 ... a humorous birthday card (IMHO) and suitable for a guy ... the sentiment I chose came as two stamps, the first says "So what you're getting older, all is not lost" and the second says "Misplaced maybe, but not lost"!!! I LIKE this sentiment and have now reached an age where it's sadly become all too appropriate!!!
