Yesterday was a slow day ...... took a while to get started and never really seemed to ... we had nowhere to be so we just chillaxed. I think it does you good every now and again. Gave myself plenty of time to craft and have returned to some journalling for the first time in an absolute age.
Got new stash too ....... So, who else has succumbed to the wilted violet, Tim Holtz' recent release Distress Ink? I saw it and simply couldn't resist ....

Materials used:
- 5" x 7" white, 300gsm, scallop edged card blank and matching sized envelope
- Snippet of white card and black card, for matting
- Distress Ink in wilted violet applied using a Tim Holtz blending tool and foam pad
- Penny Black image stamped using Distress Ink in dusty concord
- Ranger Distress Glaze applied (with a finger) to seal the water based inks
- Stardust Stickles applied, along with White Pitt Pen, to highlight

Hubby had retired to bed, feeling a little under the weather so it was an opportunity to craft on ... so, it was on to an ATC
Materials used:
- ATC blank
- Snippets of card in both white and black
- Distress Ink twisted citron applied with a Tim Holtz blending tool and foam pad
- Inkadinkado image (from the meadow set) stamped using Distress Ink in blueprint sketch
- Hero Arts film strip edge stamped around the outside of the white card panel using the twisted citron
- Stamplorations sentiment (a recent prize) stamped using Memento tuxedo black ink
- Ranger Distress Glaze applied, using a trusty finger/paper towel combo, to protect the water based inks
- Stadust stickles to highlight
- Once matted on to the black card panel I took my white Faber Castell bullet tipped pitt pen and added the dots to the back layer
