Ljubljanica river embankments

The Ljubljanica is the main watercourse in Ljubljana. With its picturesque bridges and beautiful old city centre embankments, is one of Ljubljana's business card. The Ljubljanica owes its appearance to the architect Jože Plečnik, who designed the old city centre's river embankments. The architect restored the river to the city. He renewed the old bridges and built new bridges, including the famous Trnovo Bridge, Cobblers' Bridge and Triple Bridge. Today the Ljubljanica river embankments are the most notable landmarks and the heart of Ljubljana's social life.

  5. Every photo looks like a postcard or movie scene or belongs in an art museum. With the right article I bet these photos could be printed in National Geographic Magazine. This is impressive work, in my humble opinion.
