Happy 50th Birthday....

Best thing about today...chilling with my bestie again on a Saturday...we snuck in a 30 minute power walk...stamped..chatted..laughed and created... So for me, it was another duo challenge ~ Just Add Ink's sketch challenge coupled with Fab Friday's colour challenge: Marina Mist, Night of Navy and Hello Honey. Since it's a milestone Birthday, thought I would try out a shaker card to pizzazz the card. Since this is for a guy, I went with embossing folders to spice up the card as I don't have any guy stamp sets nor designer papers..so out came the Big Shot and the Chevron and the Honeycomb embossing folder...and to complete the card...stamped the Dictionary background onto the Hello Honey banners.. Voila!

Deets: All Stampin Up

Thanks for dropping by and taking the time to leave some blog love.
Smiles.

Thanks so much Christine. Was really excited to have this 50th birthday card come together since I don't have any guy stamp sets. The sketch was great inspiration! :)

Thanks Charlene. I used fun foam to make the shaker card ~ my bestie showed me how to. Lots of layers: card stock, transparency, fun foam, card stock. Yes I think I best work on my guy stamps collection! :)

The little banners add just the right amount of fun and detail for a guy card Sheri and of course the shaker is super fun! Thanks for joining us at Just Add Ink this week.

Thanks so much Heather. I really struggle with the masculine cards so I am pleased with how my card turned out. Great inspiration with Fab Friday`s colour challenge, :)
