Easy Street Quilted

I had Easy Street longramed this week.  The back of the quilt is all pinwale corduroy scraps from the backings of other quilts.

The quilting pattern shows up better on the back than the front.  It is a loose swirl, one step up in price from a meander.  It was still  expensive to have this quilt done as it is so large.

Here's the front.  I'll probably bind it in orange.   I think I'm keeping this one even though it doesn't go with anything in my house.  It is not king size, but it is a generous queen size, big enough to use under the quilt on my bed, and the corduroy will make it warm.

Wow! The colors in your quilt just pop! The back is wonderful! I have never used corduroy for backing before. Great idea! And it will be arm.

You must be like my daughter Laura, because she likes a heavy quilt and lots of layers too. Your quilt makes me feel warmer just looking at its beautiful citrus colors and Caribbean vibe! Quite accomplishment to finish!
