Leo Gold, cultured, half-Italian heir apparent to the nefarious Boston, Gold crime family, has no idea Raisa Gordon is a vice detective when he falls for her. The FBI use the opportunity to place her undercover as romantic bait to infiltrate the Gold operation. Trouble is Raisa finds him impossible to resist, especially as he has an uncanny understanding of her long hidden, dark need for domination and discipline.
In this extract, Leo and Raisa are driving back in his limo after an evening out together. Having given in to his advances up to a point, Raisa now tries to negotiate with him over the extent of his control of her - in particular his surveillance and punishments. Written in the first person from Leo and Raisa’s alternating POV, this extract is through Raisa's eyes...
“I need to know you’re safe, Raisa.”“Alright, keep a protection detail on me then, but no reporting back to you and no more photographs!”He shrugged and nodded in agreement, “That’s acceptable as is no more spanking threats.”I was glad of the surveillance concession, but surprised and ambivalently disappointed at his ready capitulation over the spanking. Turns out my disappointment was seriously misplaced.“There’ll be no more threats. From now on, I’ll simply follow through and spank you soundly whenever you earn it. Consider this your last warning.”
