Greetings spankos and sickos! I’m continuing with more from the upcoming full length novel, The Change, a story that follows the development and deepening of a D/s marriage. In last week’s excerpt, the husband Keihl was pushing his wife Kirsten to confront exactly why she’d taken so well to the new D/s dynamic, something they both call “The Game”. To set up this week’s excerpt, Keihl is telling Kirsten, over text message, why he thinks she agrees so readily to his increasingly demanding orders…

Her thighs clenched together, hard, the wet heat between them flaring. She either needed to masturbate really, really badly — or Kiehl needed to somehow time-warp his ass back across the country and fuck her brains out. Like now.
<The other reason: you like to obey me.>
She froze, reading the words again. How did he know? And why did she like it so much? She still couldn’t answer it. She kept coming back to the whys of it, even as part of her was starting to conclude that it was a question impossible to answer, as if basic instinct, primal urges passed down through the eons, could be explained in concrete terms.
They just… were.
The questions swirled in her mind again, her brain unable to anatomize all of it, all the implications of it. To see what this might mean for her — and for her relationship with her husband. It was probably time to talk to Sharon again, and maybe Joely too.
Or maybe both.
<Lose you, girl?>
<No, Sir. I just… don’t know. I don’t know how you know this.>
<So you admit it’s true then?>
<Yes, Sir.>
<Good. Admitting it is the first step.> He paused, and she found herself almost curled over her phone, ignoring the chime of the microwave, her heart thudding, awaiting the next message.
<Now I get to figure out where you go from here. And I’m going to have fun doing it:) >

It’s sitting on my kindle and every time I read another excerpt I want to put it at the top of the list!
I’ve been away too long. I like the sounds of this on. It has heat and great descriptive writing ie: “curled over the phone” I can see her there, so focused that the world has fallen away and all that matters is the screen where is words appear. The question of why someone enjoys the dominant or submissive side of BDSM is always one those new ask. I’m picking this up today!
Or not! Missed the up and coming part. I will be keeping my eyes open.
