Started out yesterday morning with the drab house work stuff – get it done and out of the way! checked the outside plants and see if anything needed to be watered but all were ok for yesterday – might have to do that today and cut grass. Quickly got all that stuff out of the way though and then spent off and on yesterday sewing/quilting – and I did even get in some exercise!
“Stairs Through the Stars” now has 4 complete rows sewed together and one row waiting to be attached – the rest are still blocks waiting to be put into rows. I really didn’t get too much work done on this one – the two rows I had sewed on had already been made into rows the day before. I am linking to Vicki’s HSTeria Quilt Along today.

On Insanity Revisited Wednesday night I finished the side of the quilt I had been working on and was able to roll it on down and start on the other side.

I will do half of the scallop area and then start row 2 of the blocks.

When I donated several quilts last month for the Hands 2 Help that was held at the blog of Sarah from Confessions of a Fabric Addict prizes were handed out – this is what I won and they arrived in the mail yesterday – thank you Sarah – she had many prizes donated to her to give out to people that donated quilts. Keep this in mind if you like to make quilts for worthy causes she does this on a yearly basis I believe – I just found her this year.

And more stitching has been done on “Diamonds are Forever” I started this row a week ago and steadily almost every day I pick it up and work on it while listening to the news or if I just feel like it for 5 to 10 minutes here and there – two more Diamonds to add to this row and then attach it to the main body of the the quilt. It sure is growing. (keep in mind the diamonds are already made I’m just connecting them all with the white hexies now and connecting the rows) I am also linking up to Confessions of a Fabric Addict Whoop, Whoop Friday and to Sew Fresh Quilts. You should check these links out and see some great projects that are linked. So many blogs to link to today – here is another one – A Quilters Reader’s Garden – all about hexies!
