Encouraging Words of the Day:
And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. - Colossians 3:15a NLT
Sarah from "Confessions of a Fabric Addict" is once again hosting the Hands2Help Charity Quilt Challenge. This year there are three charities to choose from:
Option #1 - Quilts of Compassion makes and collects quilts that are then given to a wide variety of people, but most recently they have been handing out quilts to people suffering from the after-effects of the tornadoes that have hit the midwest.
Option #2 - Hurricane Sandy Survivors in New Jersey, helping Hurricane Sandy survivors rebuild their homes and lives.
Option #3 - Happy Chemo. You can choose to make quilts for Happy Chemo, an organization that provides quilts and comfort for chemo patients.
So far I have worked on this little quilt for Quilts of Compassion. I found the pattern called "What does the fox say?" in a magazine. It is quilted and ready to go except for the white tip of the fox's tail. Somehow, I left that piece out and found it later on the floor. So I just need to applique that piece and this little quilt will be done.
The other quilt was completed some time ago and will go to the Happy Chemo group.
That is all.
