Bunko on the Porch

I haven't done any real quilting this week, but I'm hosting bunko tonight and wanted to make my tables look pretty,  so I made a tablecloth and  pad  out of leftover fabrics from the swing cushions.  I cut the tablecloth the size of the table top plus as much drop on both sides as I wanted.  Then I lopped off all 4 corners to get an octagon shape and hemmed  eight sides.  Easy!

We will be rolling dice on the table, so I made a pad.  Otherwise the dice would be bouncing all  over.  I did some straight line quilting and then just zig-zagged around the edge.  I was in a hurry:  no time to bind.

In other quilting news, Dane sent me quilting fabric all the way from Germany!

Look how bright and summery they are!  I can't wait to find the perfect project for them.  Thanks, Dane!

Cute. I played Bunco when I was in OK, but, that was over 11 years ago. It was fun.
