Lovely stars! The red centers really pop! Happy Friday!
Two of my favourite colours - aqua and red. Looking gorgeous!
Love the colours you've used here. I've not taken time to sew one of these yet.
Love,love.Beautiful.Have a fun weekend!
Those are really cute!
Hi Billie, I am so happy to meet you and excited about finding your blog. I love your blue star flowers. I have just discovered the hexagon. I've always admired them and even counted them among my favorite quilts at quilt shows, but always thought that they would be so very hard to make. Then a couple of weeks ago I was watching Fons and Porter on public TV and they made it look easy. I have limited use of my right hand due to an injury about four years ago and after extensive therapy I now do everything I can to push through the pain and use it all the time. I was told that if and when I ever stop, I will loose all the hard work of getting it back where it is. So, I learned guitar and started sewing and knitting again. I'm new to quilting, but I have become a bit obsessed with it. I started my first quilt this fall and now I'm working on my sixth one. None are bed size, they are all more like cuddle on the sofa size.
Well, I've certainly rambled on and on . . . I love your blog, it is so inspiring. I'm your newest follwer #246. Please come visit and feel free to offer any suggestions.
Your blogging sister, Connie :)
Love your blue stars!
Pretty little stars with red centers! Such a great colour combo. I wonder what they will be when they are all stitched togther!
Your EPP pieces are lovely -- I love your prints! :)
I love those pops of red with the aqua :)
Love your blue ones, and Linda Ronstadt, too.
I like that shape of hexie. very nicely done.
Aqua and red must be the in thing - I saw so many combos of these at the quilt show today. They're lovely, Billie!
