Today Is Wednesday, April 9, 2025: This Is What Happened.

 

It been sometime since I taken part in the online party, WORDLESS WEDNESDAY. Not doing much with photos at this time. Still need to set up and appointment with the library to look at why my lap top won't read my thumb drives. So not taking all that many photos. But this one was taken earlier this year. Things was melting, but the ground was still frozen.

One thing I like to take part in on line party. It chance to meet new bloggers. It impossible for me to visit all the parties.

Went for a morning walk. My pace was on the slow side. But the main thing I got my walking in. Plus I only a few pages in book I was reading, FLIGHT. A story of your native American who is in our foster home systems. And needs to find a stable home. During the time he get in trouble not because he is bad person. Because off his situation. We can read his adventure as he is ASTRAL PROJECTION.

Tomorrow, I will go up to Katka to visit Qunella at her place. But first I want to drop off the book I got from the library. And also set up appointment to see why my laptop isn't reading some of my thumb drives. One of Qunella favor authors is GEORGETTE HEYER. See Qunella reads the same book over and over. There only few books I read more than once. It could be counted on one hand. By the way it would drive me nuts to read and or watch the same book over and over. Some time I will drive a different route. Also I'm surprised I'm not on my 5^th husband or something. I did check it out and found out our library has most of the Georgette Heyer books. My first pick would be ARABELLA, and THE GRAND SOPHY, then my final choice would be FREDERICA.

Today Is Sunday, April 6, 2025: This Is What Happened.

 

It been a while since I posted a photo. Still having issue with my thumb drives. This week I'm planning to stop by our local library to my an appointment to see why my thumb drives isn't doing there things. I made some MOLASSES COOKIES. Let just say it been a while since I baked cookies.

The two main goals this week. Is take Murphy to the eye surgeon. His appointment is at ten in morning, down in Sandpoint. A little over half hour drive. Around 30 miles. We should know when he will be having his cataract removed. The other thing is get things ready to take in the paper work for property tax reduction.

Sure there other things I have on my to do list. But those are the main ones that needs to be taken care of.

Paid the electric, water bill, and WiFi. The WiFi is paid quarterly.

Today Is Saturday, April 5, 2025: This Is What Happened.

Took a morning walk, not many clouds in the sky. The sun felt good. Kept wanting to post. But I kept moving it forward. Then it became to late. It not even noon here, as I type out my post. But time I get typed out it could be past noon.

The market been crazy. Murphy and I can live on our social security retirement. Hopefully they don't start playing games with that. It this entire trade war. Trump did. I think it could be beneficial. If us human wouldn't be so cruel and greedy. Maybe, and I'm using the word maybe without, much faith. I there a winner in this trade war. It could let to major and more Trust like they had in the 1890's Okay they didn't have shopping on the internet either. At this time I don't see a win win situation. Just more power to the oligarchies. 

Yesterday, we went to Sandpoint to see an surgeon about getting myself a  mammoplasty reduction. First I have to do physical therapy on my upper back. Both the doctor and I know it waste off time. But one needs to jump through the hoops. Or one will be banging their head against brick wall, and move nowhere. Murphy needs to go in to Sandpoint to see the ophthalmology, about getting his cataract done.

After we get all this medical figure out. I hope to get into the library and over the photo-shop to make some appointment and move on some creative projects.

It slow going through different part of the home. But it happening. Got some more things to take to the thrift store.

Today Is Tuesday, April 1, 2025: This Is What Happened.

Quite windy most of the day. Thought it Thought it would rain this afternoon, but no. That's okay. For March we got about 5 inches of rain. And about 1.50 inches of snow. Fairly wet.

I kept track of what we spend our money on. Look like food was the biggest expensive this last month, was food. It was a little over 25% of our income. We spent about $360 on grub. Then everything else was under 5%. Like donation $10, Senior center $45 Gas $45, Medicine $72.

Clean out the lower part china hutch. Lot of older magazine, which I will give to the thrift store. The only possible thing someone could do with these magazine is possible use them for collage work. But I'm trying hard to get all of my so creative supplies. In one certain area. I did keep two older garden magazine. Then there was just papers from eon ago. They were dispose of.

Went to the senior center and had lunch.

Today Is Sunday, March 30, 2025: This Is What Happened.

Had and wanted to post yesterday. But I was tired. Two of my granddaughter came and visited. They're 6 and 4. They tended art with me. We did mirror drawing. Enjoyed them very much. But they have a lot more energy than I do. Or my husband.

Got my bullet journal set up for the week. My hardest thing I like to accomplish is week is getting one the closet I have listed. Well one isn't a closet. But it is my china hutch.

No doubt I will finish my book I'm currently reading. I got my fingers crossed that my book I'm getting though the inter-library loan should be in this week. I'm getting the book, FLIGHT. This will be my third book I read by, SHERMAN ALEXIE.

Went briefly to tarot and tea. This afternoon. Got roast beef in oven. About ready to start the potatoes, and we will also have pickle beets with them. Keep meaning to get some horseradish. When I was younger someone told me horseradish was ground up horse hoofs. I believed them.

Today Is Wednesday, March 26, 2025: This Is What Happened.

 

I usually don't post my blog at this time. It almost 1:30 in the afternoon. What time day do post your blog? Mine is usually later in the day. My post is usually after dinner.

Got rid of few more coats out of the coat closet. Plus a couple of scarfs. Now the only things is to get Murphy to go though his coats. Plus I'm working on the hall closet. That going slower. Trying to figure it out. But I need to be grateful it coming along.

If it all works out. I'm going to tea and tarot on Sunday at the pearl. I just send message to one people who usually attends. I'm trying to find a home for this game, DON'T MAKE ME LAUGH. The person who I think might be able to help me. Is involved in drama and plays.

Plus my creative corner is moving along nicely. My goal is to get compact and have a large portion of visible. So it can be easily assist to.

Murphy planted anther tree. I will go and read some.

See I'm an only child I'm use to play two parts. At time I would set up the checkerboard and change chairs. And move the pieces about. I send an link to our local library. I know the cost of getting the same book could be costly.

Murphy and I dug up a fir tree, and planted closer to the house. I've been going through coat and hall closet. Got a few items to be taken to the thrift store. I'm planning to work more on the coat closet tomorrow. If there time I will also work on the hall closet. I have box of creative supplies. Today, I also went though box of cards I have received over time. I been cutting and put them in a right size photo sleeve. I want to either get smaller size off box or possible box half the size I'm using now.

We also had lunch at the senior center.

Today Is Saturday, March 22, 2025: This Is What Happened.

Just finished up loading the dishwasher, and making oven french toast casserole, here is the RECIPE. I'm using. For the fruit I'm using apples. Plus add some chopped up walnut and small handful of raisins. I'm a raisin. Murphy and I made beef stew for dinner tonight.

Around the place we did those chores we didn't get done. I got out my RAINBOW. I call it my big boy. It really cleans. Mine is an older one. Someone toss it in a dumpster can. The only thing wrong with it, was the cord was tangle. Maybe someday I can get the attachments.

Plus I loaded some more pictures, my downloads. Not sure if it really working. I'm using an multi port device. Well if I plug my thumb drive directly into my laptop, nothing comes up. But if I plug the thumb drive into multi port, it works just fine.

The last thing I want to close the week off. Was to vacuum out my car. Got that done.

I don't think I mention this. But I got an letter from social security about my Medicare. Well they're suppose to take out, $185 a month for my Medicare. So now they want it back. So they will be taking out 2 months worth. My April social security will be right around $100 dollars. I just hope there no glitches after it's paid back. With Trump in office. Some day, I will say less than five years we will qualify for MEDICARE HELP. We will be ok, we will just mainly living on Murphy check. All the monthly bill is up to date.

Today Is Friday, March 21, 2025: This Is What Happened.

 

Loading my photos off of my laptop is going good. I'm thinking I should be posting photos, before the end of the month. I would like to go through the photos that is in a trunk. That will take a while.

Before I woke up this morning, I had a strange dream. More like nightmare. If it includes President Trump it's a nightmare. He was in the oval office, signing an executive order to burn a book. This book was about transgender. Although I didn't see the book title in my book. He went out side of the White House. And lite the book on fire.

Last night I went to the pearl to monthly book talk, We talk about books. It been some time since I been there. Pretty much close to a year. I heard of this book before and I put it on my good read list, WHAT ALICE FORGOT. Well one of the people shared her thoughts on it.

Murphy and I went into to town. Lunch at the senior center, we had beef stroganoff. Plus they had their grocery give away. It sure helps. But before we went to lunch we went over to the pharmacy and picked up my inhaler. And to library to take book back, I got thought the inter-library loan program. Plus I put a request for another book, FLIGHT. Actual our library has quite a few of Sherman Alexie. Books.

Today Is Tuesday, March 18, 2024: This is What Happened

Yesterday evening I finished reading, STATUS UPDATE. I thought the layout was on the weird side. I felt the author start writing like volume 5 or something. And forgot about 1, 2, 3, and 4. At an later date I might look into, OH CANADA. Will be starting to read THE LETTERS OF FRIDA KAHLO. I plan to return Status Update on Friday. And fill out paper work to request a book from the inter-library. FLIGHT. And looks like our library only has 11 of Sherman Alexie books. Flight will be my third book by Sherman Alexie.

Start going though the coat closet. Wash up two coats. I'm leaning heavy of donating one my down coats. I got plenty of winter coats. Plus our coat closet is stuff. It been ages since I wore my London fog down coat.

Not sure if anyone else is having issue getting there mail and package delivered. I do recall a time when package only came mostly on Birthdays or Christmas. Now they come on regular bases. I plan not to order and thing on line in April. Well let get back to the mail. Our mail would come like clockwork between 11:30 AM til 12:30 PM. Now it coming who knows when. I went down to our post office here in Naples. They told me at the sorting center they been short staff. At this point they look like there is change to the POSTAL SERVICE, coming in April. I know if Trump gets his way, he would like to privatized the POST OFFICE. But our postal service is part of our Constitution, POSTAL CLAUSE. One thing I don't why some people thinks privatized is the answer to all things. Plus our postal service delivers quite a few of Amazon package. My package coming is coming by the post office. Usually my package is delivered by UPS or the Postal. Once in great while I will get something through Fed-X. I haven't yet had package delivered by Prime, part of Amazon. Thinking about it. I don't recall seeing a prime truck or van in my county. I was trying to find a more recent article about the relationship between Amazon and postal service. But for my Canadian readers, One might be interested in this ARTICLE.

Today Is Monday, March 17, 2025: This Is What Happened.

It been a little while since I've posted anything. Doing fine. Not all that much going on. I'm sure all of you know what going on with our King Trump or I like word dictator. It more fitting.

Murphy has some tonsil stone. Never heard of them. Our doctor compare them to kidney stone. She send him off to an nose ear and throat specialist. We should hear back from them in two to four weeks.

Went to senior center and they had Irish bases lunch today. Corn beef and cabbage. Afterward we stop at the store and got a few items.

The other day, ordered a few things from Amazon. Like some thumb drive. Got quite a few pictures loaded. But I think one more should cover it. Well that not quite correct. I'm actual doing up three thumb drives a picture and such. One for each of my sons, and then one for me.
