Enjoy the moment

Just a quick post today with a card for a couple of challenges. The sketch is from Just Us Girls current sketch challeng while the colors were inspired from Stamptacular Sunday's current photo challenge:

Now when I first saw this picture I instantly thought of Halloween, but since I am not just a huge Halloween gal I wanted to go in a different direction. Halloween is in the fall season so I used that as my jumping off point. I really like the color of the moon and the red/pink around it so I used that as my color inspiration. I have some old Basic Grey Indian Summer collection and in it I found this great yellow leaves pattern that I thought would be great to mimic the moon. To bring in the red/pink I punched out two butterflies (a large and small one) from some acetate and then used my alchol inks to color it. I wanted the butterflies bodies to stand out a little more so used some black enamel. I really like the tree in the picture but decided to use it for the bark stamp on the kraft c/s instead of a silhouette. I am also using this card as a DT submission to their challenge site.
