Wednesday Hodgepodge

1. What's a pet peeve you have when vacationing?

Lines - and waiting in them.

2. Are you a light packer or do you need everything in your closet plus the kitchen sink?

I 'm a very light packer, just don't see the need to take a lot with me when I know I'll probably pick up a couple of new things while I'm there.

3. What's the best lesson a child ever taught you?

Responsibility and both the joys and sorrows it can bring.

4. Share one piece of advice you'd give a recent graduate as they attempt to enter the job market?

Your first job doesn't have to be permanent. Take what you have to to get by but don't stop looking.

5. What's your favorite lemon something?

Lemon ice-cream

6. Flat sandal, wedge, heel...your favorite footwear?

Flat!

7. What do you like best about a beach holiday? If you're not a beach lover (GASP!!) what do you dislike the least?

I love the water.

8. Insert your own random thought here.
It's finals week, and my office is hosting an annual event tomorrow - then Saturday is graduation and I 'm in charge of disability seating - crazy week - I have no random thoughts right now.

  1. Flat for me too -- flip flops preferably (that means that it's warm!).

I love EVERYTHING about a beach holiday! ;-)

  3. I don't think I've ever tried lemon ice cream, but it sure sounds tasty! I can't live without flip flops!

  4. um, lemon ice cream does sound tempting.

I love a tall glass of ice tea, that's steeped in the sun on my back porch for at least 8 hours and then a bit of sugar and lemon. so refreshing!

I'm a terrible "just in case" packer. it' sad really. an illness :)
especially since I am likely on the beach and only require a bathing suit.

  5. Love lemon sherbet. And the water. Also hate lines, but we usually go places that don't have lines: parks, beaches, hiking trails.
