Wednesday Hodgepodge

1. Did March come in like a lion or was it something less ferocious in your neck of the woods?
We've had a lovely, strangely mild winter.   That said, we did wake up to snow on March 1st but it wasn't really lion like... more like a large house cat

2. Speaking of lions, which one's your film favorite...The Cowardly Lion (Wizard of Oz), Mufasa (The Lion King), Elsa (Born Free), or Alex (Madagascar)? You may notice I left Aslan off the list. Including him would have made this question way too easy for many of you.
Hmm.  I'm going to go with The Cowardly Lion.   More relate-able, I guess.  (is that a word?)
3. What's your favorite spot from which to view the sunrise or sunset?
Well we get some amazing sunrise views and shows right from our deck/bedroom/family room/kitchen . . . well, the back side of our house basically.  That said, my favorite sunset spot is still . . . pool side in Hawaii.

4. To what extent is knowledge power and to what extent is truth power? What's the difference?
Well this is heavy.  Knowledge is power to the extent that all that you know is in fact truthful.

Wait.

I don't know.

Pass.

It's my blog.  I can pass if I want to.

5. What's something peculiar you've seen recently?
Well remember I said I went bathing suit shopping with Mom/Nana . . .  NOoooooo Just kidding.  Um, Nothing too peculiar I guess.  I have been to the grocery store 3 times in the last week.  That in itself is peculiar for me.
6. Bottled water...your thoughts?
I'm not a water drinker in general.  Which is bad, I know.  I'm trying to drink more.  Good old tap water works just fine for me.  We have a Brita pitcher in the fridge which is the Hubby's go to water source and we fill the pups bowl from that also, it helps with the tear stains under his eyes.  Anyway . . . I'll just say I'm ambivalent about it but what I can't stand is random left over half full water bottles hanging around.  A. noy. ing.
7. What's your strongest sense?
I would say my 'Mom' sense.  No, really probably my sense of smell.

8. Insert your own random thought here.
Speaking of water drinking . . . I visited the Doc this morning and she is insisting I drink more water.  Odd coincidence, eh?

I'm just sayin'

Maybe my sixth sense led me to ask that question today : ) I hate half drunk water bottles-what a waste. Same goes for sodas in the can.

I have not been to the store this week and am contemplating popcorn for dinner since hubs is out for a dinner tonite. It works for me.

I have a very strong 'Mom' sense, too, Carrie...drives my girls NUTS! I am totally with you on Hawaii's sunsets...nothing better! I used to not be a big water drinker, but now I can't STOP! I even prefer it over sweet tea from Chick Fil-A...shocker, I know!

Personally, I think that bottled water is a marketing windfall. I drink tap water run through a filter, and I have survived. Those Hawaiian sunset are really beautiful, but Phoenix has some great ones too. Have a good evening.
