Wednesday Hodgepodge

The week is just marching on, isn't it.  We are finally having our serious summer weather with some humidity thrown in for good measure.  I guess we should feel lucky we're not dealing with hurricanes and random earthquakes, right?  That said, I can not for the life of me remember to water the pots every day without fail.  Much to the Hubby's chagrin.  Bother.  I do try.  Really.
Anyway, on with Joyce's Hodgepodge . . .

1. What is something that bothers you if it's not done perfectly?
Really, I can't think of anything.  I'm not that much of a perfectionist,  pretty easy going really.  Okay, I might rearrange the dishwasher but that's mostly just to get more in it.  And I might refold towels.  That is if anyone else ever folded them.

2. Do you think a 6th sense exists? Explain.
I think it exists.  I think everyone has the ability to 'feel' or 'sense' things.  Especially Moms.  I just heard about this book which I'm going to purchase . . . you can read about it here.

3. Do you say your goodbyes slowly, quickly, or not at all?
Well I guess that depends.  It's a quick goodbye if it's one of my kids leaving again.  You know, kind of like taking off a band aid . . . slow is painful ~ quick is gettin' it over with.  If it's a social function usually it's drawn out.
4. On a scale of 1-10, with ten being hot hot hot, what level of spice do you like in your food? What's your favorite 'spicy' dish?
I'm not a huge fan of spicy.  Hot is not good if it's just hot to be hot.  Hot with flavor is good, so I'm going to say I'm a 3.5.  Ha.
5. What is one of your all time favorite commercial jingles?
I'm going with the all time favorite Coke commercial.  They just don't make 'em like they used to, eh?

6. Plane, train, boat or auto...your preferred method of travel?
Do.not.like.boats. ~ Planes are a necessary evil ~ Trains are not for the motion feeble souls.  So I'm going with the auto.

7. What is something you take for granted?
Most definitely good health.  I think it's one of those things you don't even give a thought unless it's not good.  Once again the topic of exercise comes up.  ugh.

8. Insert your own random thought here.
Once again I am having a serious problem getting motivated to start packing Mr. 19's worldly possessions into bags for his return to Campus.  Which is happening on Sunday.  Ugh.  I think this year he might just get outta here taking only eight a few pair of shoes.
I couldn't do it.

I'm just sayin'

I almost don't like it when other people fold the towels. That just means I have to refold.

I'm going to get the book too-it's gotten great reviews and I like her writing.

Good luck with the sendoff. Daughter1 was in the middle of that earthquake yesterday. I have something new to add to my list of stuff to worry about : )

Earthquake close to where I live-When the school principal asked me if I felt anything I just replied--"Tired"!
Sounds like a good book.

I agree, there is definitely a "right" way to fold towels and load the dishwasher!
