Wednesday Hodgepodge

Wednesday again.  Wouldn't it be interesting if there were actually 5 more different days of the week?  Like in between weekends there were some other named days and that meant Wednesdays only came around every 10 days?  Just a thought. Does that make sense to anyone else but me?  Hmm

Anyway . . . there are NOT 12 or 14 days to a "week" and it is Wednesday so on with the Hodgepodge ~

1. What are your plans for Easter Day/weekend?

Well the kids will be trickling in starting with Mr. 19 tonight.  Son #1 will be driving down sometime tomorrow and Miss Katherine-A arrives Friday around noon.  After they all arrive we will celebrate being all together with dinner out.  Most likely Miss K-A's choice since she hasn't been home since she left after Christmas.

I've arranged for a pedicure for Miss K-A since I'm sure she needs one badly after all that volleyball. Other than that we have no plans for Saturday.  I'm sure we will not be seeing the whites of anybody's eyes until close to the lunch hour anyway.  That's just how things go when everyone is at home sleeping in their own beds.

We will then go to Easter Vigil Mass and dinner on Saturday evening and then the whole Fam Damily is coming here for lunch on Sunday.  I have to say Easter will be extra fun this year with the 5 Littles doing the Egg Hunt.  Yay for Littles!

2. Besides Jesus, what one person from The Bible would you most like to meet and why?

Ooohh, so many.  Hmm I'm gonna go with Eve.  I'd like to hear HER side of the story.  Ha.  Of course Mary is really the one I'd like to have a conversation with.

3. What is one modern day convenience you didn't have as a child that was easy to live without?

Well the obvious answer would be the cell phone.  A close second for me would be the microwave.  Even now I don't use it that much.

4. Are you more right brained or left brained? If you don't know what that means there is an interesting little quiz here.

Well interestingly enough, I am 67 % left brained.  Hmm

5. What is something you intended to do today but didn't? Why?

I intended to go to Costco.  I was really on a roll this morning.  I left the house fairly early and made a stop at Target.  Then on to the bank on my way to the other side of town and Bridgeport Village.  (Because that's where Crate and Barrel is and that was on my list today.)  My plan after that was to go to Costco and then the grocery store and back home.  However . . . the Hubby phoned on my way back across town to say that he (who was heading golfing networking) had put Mr. 19's clubs in his car instead of his own.  Bother.  Sooooo . . . being the good wife that I am, {ahem} while he lunched with his foursome I went home, grabbed his clubs, took them to the club and then since I was right in the grocery store vicinity I went there first and then could not go on to Costco with all those perishables in my car.  Bother.  Oh well, I shall go tomorrow.

6. Cadbury Creme Eggs or Reeses peanut butter?

Definitely Reeses.

7. Who was your favorite cartoon character when you were a child?

You know, I really don't remember if I had one at all.  I don't even recall being all that into cartoons. I did like The Jetsons though.  The mom (Judy) was quite stylin'.

8. Insert your own random thought here.

This will be the first Easter in at least three years (could be 4) that all the kids will be home and we will be in town.  We have been either on Spring break and out of town or Miss K-A. has been doin' the volleyball thing or we've followed her and her volleyball team to places far and wide.  I recall that one Easter Sunday dinner spent in the Dallas airport.  Hmm  Not so eastery.  (sure that's a word)

Doin' the Happy Dance here.

I'm just sayin'

It sounds like you're going to have a wonderful weekend! My kids won't be home this holiday - the first time ever - I guess that's what happens when they grow up.

Loved the Jetsons too!

I so know what you mean about the college crew not surfacing until lunch time. They just seem to keep a totally different schedule from the rest of the world. But, it's always great to have them home anyway. Have a blessed Easter.
