Look closely at the floral-middle blocks. A 10" square of fabric is folded into a 4-point star. Then a border is sewed around it. I sewed a variety of border colors.
Light purple...
Dark green...
Orange...
Dark purple...
Pink...
Light green...
Brown...
and Fuschia...
I quilted the entire quilt by machine, even the binding!
The back of the quilt is pieced from the leftover colors.
I can't even begin to imagine the HOURS this took and the fact that you said it was FUN, leaves me in AWE of you my friend! It's beautiful!!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Teresa. Do you have a walking foot? If so, did it make this quilting by machine easier so the top and bottom stayed together better without bunching up? I look at all my quilts and wonder why I am itching to make another one, but I am. Great work, Teresa.
