Wednesday Hodgepodge

Gosh is it Wednesday already?  I think the fact that I have a dinner party to put on this weekend, has something to do with the fact that the week seems to be screaming by.

Anyway . . . because it is Wednesday, it's time for Joyce's Hodgepodge of questions.

1. Your favorite chocolate treat?

Well, I know it sounds abnormal but I'm not a huge fan of chocolate in general.  That said though, I do enjoy tiny bits now and then and my favorite is a milk chocolate caramel.  The Hubby usually gives me a 1/2 pound box for Christmas and I just finished it last week.  See?  It took me that long to eat them all.

2. What more than anything else makes you feel loved?

Hmmm.  I would have to say being paid attention to.  It's pretty simple really.

3. Cherries or blueberries?

Do I have to?  I don't really care for either.  I don't mind a fresh cherry once in a while but can't stand them cooked.   I really only like blueberries in a muffin and I eat around most of them.

4. What is the one trait you most want the leader of your country to possess?

Wow, pick one, eh?  Of course assuming he/she is a moral, upstanding individual . . . how about smarts.  I mean smart as in, intelligence.  I think if he/she is smart everything would/could flow from there and be successful       I hope.

5. Are you a saver or a spender?

If I have to admit it pick I'd say spender.  That said, I can be a pretty thrifty spender too.

6. If you gave a party for all of your friends would they already know each other?

Nope.  There might be some cross overs but not all would know all.

7. Are you interested in antiques?

Yes, sure.  I like checking them out but don't collect or anything.

8. Insert your own random thought here.

I have not heard from the newly turned 21 year old daughter so I'm assuming and expecting (lawyer words) all went well yesterday/last night.  Hmmm  Would be nice to know for sure though.  (Can you "see" my eyebrows raising right now?)

We woke up to a winter wonderland this morning.  Bother.

Good thing I didn't listen to the Hubs and take off my studded tires last week.

I'm just sayin'

But doesn't the snow look pretty (she says naively from her balmy 75 degree environment). It was almost 80 here yesterday!!! It's nuts - I can never put away my winter/summer clothes because we change seasons daily!!!

Beautiful pic of the snow-just keep it there. Weather constantly changing here-one day 30 and the next 60-oh well.
