As some of you might remember, unlike Rosy, I have had no problems with squirrels. This year, however, they have started to take over our backyard. This has upset Daddy, because they they have been trying to set up housekeeping under our sheds.
Here is a video from TC showing squirrel cuteness...
As always, feel free to visit our YouTube Channel HERE
I am torn....on the one hand, they are so cute...
BUT
If Daddy hates them, I think I may have to rethink things...

Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop this week!
You are very kind Sunny but no need to rethink. It is a matter of mutual understanding between you and Daddy, each coming from their own perspective. They can be both cute and a nuisance at the same time.

ReplyDeleteOh my word, but they are just so entertaining! TC caught some excellent footage. I understand your conundrum, Sunny, and I echo it. I guess one has to ask, does one want a little pack of mini squirrels running around to tease Rosy and Daddy? Pawhaps a solution can be found to let them continue to visit, but discourage camping? Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
They're clever little so and so's but they can be such a pain!
ReplyDeleteWe don't like them because they are mean to dogs, teasing us endlessly. Rabbits are our jam. You better get those tree rats away from your sheds before they start to damage them.
ReplyDeleteWell, Sunny, they do say "Father Knows Best" ... so maybe ...
ReplyDeleteNiece Sunny I will jump aboard Daddy's Squirrel Train...the drive me bonkers...I 'think' I finally solved the problem of them jumping from the deck bench to the feeders by moving the 4 staff
ReplyDeletepost about 7' from deck. I have a barrel baffle around the staff post. The try to climb up it and band their noggins like a gong.. As for jumping from the tree limbs...well I fixed them. All my feeders have domes on them. when the jump the fall.
Hugs AC
Beth and my nieces I just saw your very kind comment on C's and I thank you

Those squirrels sure love your watering hole. We can understand why your dad doesn't like them though.
ReplyDeleteAwww, you're having a wonderful birthday week. I get why dad doesn't like them. They are cute, but ever so evil.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. Scritches to the pups and my very best to their peeps. ♥
Oh, we do not like squirrels, not one single bit. They taunt us from the tree next to our deck and sit just outside our fence chomping on their nuts. They are real pests. Mom is trying to figure out how to get a silly woodpecker from pecking away at the metal domes on the top of our two big chimneys. Way too high up for her to do anything about it. But so annoying. The sound vibrates down through the chimney and through the house.

Those crazy squirrels can be pretty entertaining!
ReplyDeleteTree rats are amazing creatures, but they do need to stay out from under your buildings.
ReplyDeleteLulu: "SQUIRRELS!!!"
ReplyDeleteSunny, are you sure those are squirrels. They sure don't look like our squirrels. I think ours are gray. In any case, I'm with Lulu: "SQUIRRELS!" XOX XENA
ReplyDeletePlease don't go over to the dark side, Sunny. I'm here for you. XOXOX Chia
