Happy Earth Day!
Today also happens to be my daughter Cassidy's 30th birthday - I was thrilled that she was born on Earth Day. I'll share her birthday card tomorrow since it is for the new challenge at The Paper Shelter. For today, I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

I created my card base by tracing a circle die on a square card base and cutting around it, leaving the top edge for the closure - I then die cut the same circle and a smaller one from a piece of watercolor paper that I had distressed with Oxide Inks in blue, yellow, and green and sponged the edges with black. I stamped the sentiments from Ink Road Stamps (Plants not Pants set) with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. The plant die cuts are from Crafter's Companion. Peace.
Excellent bundling of several current themes including MTTC's circular shape base card!!! Thanks for tackling it! Awesome! Great way to give the blues and greens tones without actually showing Earth's continents and oceans! -- Becca
ReplyDeleteP.S. HQFSCAT or Heart's Quest For Shaped Cards and Tags is still open until Apr 30th for #4/April if you want to take time to add another link-up. It's anything goes on shaped cards or shaped tags. The only exception is no straight 90* degree corner rectangles. Rounded corners is accepted. So is a dog-ear topped. A scallop-topped. A diagonal line top such as a z-fold. Waveline topped with 2 bottom corners. Etc. Would love for you to consider this blog in my Quest family of challenges! -- Becca
