Sending Hugs

Hello, everyone!  It's time for a new challenge from the Creative Moments Challenge blog.  The theme is: CAS.  I am using an image from our fabulous sponsor: Sheepski Designs.

 Here is my card:
It's interesting how your style evolves and grows as you spend more time crafting in any form.  I am not a fussy card maker, but CAS cards used to be extremely hard for me to pull off well.  My style falls more into a classic, somewhat embellished style with lots of layers.  BUT, I have worked to understand the CAS style and I think I am getting pretty good at it.  I printed this beautiful image out in a large size so it could really be the star of the show.  I die cut the panel using a stitched rectangle die.  After I colored up the image, I add a simple sentiment and RESISTED the urge to add any embellishments at all.
You have all month to play along.  So, get inky and link up your creation; I can't wait to see what you create!

Supplies:
Stamps: Sheepski Designs "Jos Daffodils"
Dies: My Favorite Things "Blueprints 12" stitched rectangle

Challenges:
Cards Galore #134--anything goes
Crafter's Cafe #318--anything goes with the optional twist: feminine
Die Cut Divas--flowers
Beautiful Blossoms #28--anything goes with flowers with the optional mood board

Triple B--anything goes with birds, blooms, or butterflies with optional mood board

Fab n' Funky #614--think spring
Word Art Wednesday #695--anything goes with uplifting sentiment
Penny's Challenge #594--anything goes
Double D--springtime flowers

As You Like It--Favorite: CAS or Fancy and Fussy?  (As I said in my post, I don't really prefer either of these options, but I so admire people who do CAS well and my aim is to get better and better at it.)
